Arvydas Macijauskas (24), Marc Jackson (24), and Qyntel Woods (23) all had big nights as Olympiacos crushed Virtus Bologna 104-76

The Greeks led 21-11 after one quarter and never looked back for the rest of the game.

Maccabi Tel-Aviv 73-67 Efes Pilsen

Maccabi overcame a five point deficit going into the final quarter to enjoy a 73-67 victory over Efes Pilsen.

No one Maccabi player in particular stood out during the match with their top scorer Esteban Batista downing only 14 points.

Armani Jeans Milano 65-74 Unicaja Malaga (Picture)

A defensive stand over most of the final quarter was enough for Unicaja to defeat Armani Jeans Milano 65-74 on the road in Italy for its second consecutive Group B victory.

Milano went up 55-53 early in the final quarter, but Unicaja responded with a 0-15 run over a seven minutes spell to decide the outcome.

Group C

Barcelona 82-76 Chorale Roanne

Barcelona registered their second consecutive home win and improved to 2-1 in the Group C standings with an 82-76 win over Chorale Roanne.

Mario Kasun led the winners with 22 points on 9-of-12 two-pointers, while Jaka Lakovic scored 16 points on 4-of-7 shooting from three-point range.

Montepaschi Siena turned in another spectacular home performance to beat Zalgiris Kaunas 89-64.

Tomas Ress came off the bench to lead five Montepaschi scorers in double figures with 16 points as the hosts improved to 2-1 before visiting Tau Ceramica next week.

Union Olimpija rounded a historical night in club history by edging mighty CSKA Moscow 74-72 in front of a sellout crowd in Tivoli Arena

Marko Milic became the game hero by hitting the game-winning driving layup with 0.8 seconds to go in a special game for Union Olimpija, who honoured European basketball legend Ivo Daneu by retiring his number in a pre-game ceremony.

Group B:

Aris 77-73 Cibona

Aris TT remain undefeated atop Group B after surviving a game-long challenge by Cibona to win their showdown 77-73. Cibona led for much of the last three quarters before a series of late-game mistakes cost the visitors.

Jeremiah Massey was unstoppable for Aris amassing 28 points on 12-for-14 two-point shooting and pulling 11 rebounds for the winners.

Le Mans 77-83 Lietuvos Rytas

Hollis Price top scored with 32 points as Lietuvos Rytas enjoyed a big 83-77 road victory in Le Mans.

The Lithuanians edged the match thanks to a big final quarter when they outscored the French 25-17.

Group C:

Partizan 90-94 Panathinaikos

Kostas Tsartsaris and Dimitrios Diamantidis both scored 21 points as defending champions Panathinaikos survived a big scare in Serbia.

The Greeks were trailing by a point before finally digging out the victory at the death.

Brose 49-59 Real Madrid

Real Madrid stayed unbeaten in Group C and joined Panathinaikos atop the standings by downing Brose Baskets 49-59 on the road in Bamberg.

Felipe Reyes showed he is recovered from his back problems, as he led the winners with a double-double of 21 points on 8-of-9 two-pointers and 12 rebounds.

Guildford Heat lost their first ever European match, going down 84-68 to fellow ULEB Cup debutants KK Bosna in Sarajevo.

The Bosnians ran out convincing winners at the Zetra Olympic Sports Hall, with six of their players scoring ten or more points.

Daniel Gilbert scored 22 for the Heat, while Brian Dux added 15 and Tony Dorsey pitched in with ten.

Bosna raced into an 18-point lead in the first quarter and, despite a fightback in the second by the Surrey side, they never looked back.

Dorsey and Gilbert sparked a surge before half time, and the game reached the midway point 47-37.

But thanks to a late eight-point run by Lance Williams, who scored 23 overall, it was the Bosnians who secured their first ever ULEB Cup win.

Tau Ceramica 98-71 Virtus VidiVicic Bologna

Tau hammered Virtus in a one-sided encounter to extend their home winning streak to 29 matches. Igor Rakocevic starred for the home side with 23 points as the team raced out to a 49-34 half time lead before extending it to 98-60 late in the third quarter. Virtus made a late run but it was for pride only as Tau always looked comfortable.

Union Olimpija 87-78 Olympiacos

Union Olimpija secured their first win of their Euroleague campaign downing Olympiacos in Ljubljana. Despite not being top scorer on the night Miha Zupan was instrumental in the win as he helped them to a 57-54 lead at the half time interval before the side resorted to solid defense to dominate the game in the second half.

GROUP B

Lietuvos Rytas 92-74 Maccabi Elite

Lietuvos Rytas dominated Maccabi Elite Tel Aviv to take the top spot in Group B with a 2-0 win-loss record. Rytas used their solid defense along with outstanding displays from Arturas Jomantas (19 points, six rebounds and six assists), Mindaugas Lukauskis (16 points) and Kenan Barjamovic (12 points) to control the game from start to finish.

Le Mans Sarthe Basket 66-69 Aris TT Bank

Aris TT Bank maintained their unbeaten record this season by out-muscling Le Mans in France. Aris dictated play from the off and had built a solid lead by half time. The home side made a comeback in the final quarter to ensure a tense finish but could not find enough points to secure the win.

GROUP C

Real Madrid 89-83 Lottomactica Roma

Real Madrid joined a three-way tie, with Panathinaikos and Partizan Igokea, at the top of Group C by snatching a thrilling win over Lottomatica in the Spanish capital. Madrid took an early 25-10 lead in the first quarter before Erazem Lorbek and Roko Ukic lead a Roma comeback to tie 81-81 with less than two minutes left on the clock. But Raul Lopez hit a triple before adding free throws to seal the win.

AXA FC Barcelona 82-67 Fenerbahce Ulker

Barcelona picked up their first win of the season convincingly downing Fenerbahce. Barcelona looked to be on course for a rout as they held a 17 point lead early in the second quarter but the visitors rallied through Willie Solomon, returning from injury, and Omer Onan to cut the deficit to just eight points at half time. However, with Jaka Lakovic and Pepe Sanchez on the court Barcelona always looking confident as they held on for the win.
